The Atlanta Journal-Constitution

The outstanding play of Gainesville junior receiver Tailer Jones continues to capture the attention of college recruiters.
Two days after receiving a scholarship offer from Ole Miss, Jones received a call from South Carolina Wednesday evening.
“I just got an offer from South Carolina,” said Jones, who also has offers from Arkansas, N.C. State and West Virginia.
“Coach [Steve] Spurrer is a great coach who helped to perfect the spread offense. He, along with his son [Steve Spurrier Jr.], is one of the best coaching combinations you can get.
“They are building a great program there, and it’s one of the best schools in the SEC.”
Georgia Tech is also showing interest in Jones, who attended the Jackets’ victory over Florida State on Saturday.
