How It Went: Miller Grove’s Gilstrap says Western Kentucky in lead
The Atlanta Journal-Constitution

Miller Grove defensive back/wide receiver Kenneth Gilstrap came away impressed from an official visit to Western Kentucky this past weekend, but he’s not ready to make a commitment to accept the school’s dual offer of a football/track scholarship.
Gilstrap visited through early Sunday evening before heading back to metro Atlanta and said via text message that the Hilltoppers “are my leader right now.”
“It was great,” he added. “I really see the growth in the [football] program and I know I can go in and play.”
Western Kentucky is the only college that has offered the blue-chip track sprinter scholarships in football and track and field. He has said that he wants to play both sports in college.
Gilstrap also has track offers from South Carolina, Kentucky, Kansas State, Louisville and Georgia Tech, and other football offers from Ohio, Richmond, Middle Tennessee and Alabama-Birmingham.
Gilstrap said Western Kentucky is interested in him at either football position.
