Road Trip: Henry County WR Patterson to visit Georgia Tech
The Atlanta Journal-Constitution

Stanford commit Jamal Patterson of Henry County will continue his whirlwind tour of colleges around the Southeast on Saturday when he attends the Florida State-Georgia Tech contest at Bobby Dodd Stadium.
Patterson, who is considered the 14th-best receiver in the nation by Scout.com, watched Florida dismantle LSU in Gainesville earlier this month. He also attended Georgia Tech’s victory over Clemson at Death Valley.
He’ll be accompanied to Tech on Saturday by junior teammates John Holland and Donterrius Shannon, a pair of dominating linebackers for the Warhawks.
“They are already being heavily recruited by Clemson and Florida,” said Patterson, a member of the AJC’s THE GEORGIA 150 AJC’s The Georgia 150.
“They came with me to visits to those schools.”
Patterson, who plans to take an official visit to Stanford in early January, was disappointed to learn earlier this week that Lassiter offensive lineman Camden Wentz backed out of his commitment to the Cardinal due to a potential admissions issue.
“I hated that we lost Camden,” Patterson said. “He’s a great player. But I feel he will get things situated and commit back to Stanford. If not, he will do what’s best for him.”
