Is UGA “cooling off” with Miller Grove WR Stephen Hill?
The Atlanta Journal-Constitution
Categories
It’s a good thing that Miller Grove’s Stephen Hill never read too deep into UGA’s interest.
That’s because the Bulldogs, after flirting so strongly last month, have appeared to cool down communications in recent weeks. It could have a lot to do with UGA’s progress with other wide receivers.
“We really don’t know what’s going on with Georgia, if they are waiting on the kid from Memphis [Marlon Brown] or some others to decide,” Miller Grove coach Jasper Jewell said.
Hill remains committed to Central Florida. He also has offers from Georgia Tech, Troy, Purdue, Mississippi State, Mississippi, and Tulane. Hill has been told he is a scholarship candidate at Georgia, Alabama, and Tennessee.
He postponed his official visit to Central Florida this weekend, and is scheduled to make a recruiting trip to Georgia Tech on Dec. 12.

Mr. Hill why would you want to go to UGAY. Go some where you are wanted, TECH. That way you have the four chances to show the bull pup nation how stupid they are for not wanting a player of your ability. Come to Tech and get a great education and a possible national championship in the next four years. Go to UGAY and you will be good at saying wait til next year.

Well Chad there’s one thing UGA doesn’t have to say “wait until next year” about, and that, my friend is beating the snot out of Ga Tech. You see, we believe you should play the game on the field but all you can do is play on the blogs where you can holler anonimously about what you “possibly” can do.
National Championship? Don’t you think you should try to win your conference first? Let’s make it easier… Don’t you think you should beat Virginia first?
What a hypocrite, attacking UGA about “wait til next year” and claiming wait til the next four years in the same post.
Yes, the truth is that you can get a great education at Ga Tech, and maybe the program will get better under Coach Johnson… I hope so, but there are High Schools who sell more home game tickets than Ga Tech right now, to their own fans, that is… UGA will always help out our little in-state brother in selling out the stadium when we play there, even if we have to buy tickets to a few extra games that we won’t go see.
So yes Mr. Hill, if we have to pass on getting you at UGA, by all means go to Ga Tech, maybe you can help them sell some tickets and you won’t have to play your home games to a sold out crowd of your opponants’ fans.

Stephen, there is a lot of room for playing time up in Tennessee and only 3 and a half hours away. Great program, great tradition. WIll be on the top again soon! We would love to have you. You would play in the SEC and start right away on your way to the NFL.

Dekalb,…and then on your way to the NFL????Did you forget about going to class and getting a degree? Colleges are not farm systems, they are places of higher learning.

If this kid is that good then he would obviously choose a school with an offense and quarterbacks who can run a pro-style system. A school with a very solid education, a solid fan base, a solid coach, and outstanding athletic facilities…UGA

Mr. Hill, you should come to Tech where you can play in front of 25,000 crazy, rabid fans every Saturday and maybe get thrown to ONCE!
Also, there’s a lot of hot chicks at Tech too.

well lets see here, TECH has 4 national championships, and georgia has how many?
1?
dont even bring up championships have you “dawgs” even seen a tech game? or are you just reading the sunday headlines? tech is passing the ball more and more each game, it throws the other team off guard. just because tech runs the ball 80% of the time doesnt mean that the wide outs wont get the ball. and remember the kid can return punts and kicks, and tech could use him with some end arounds.
come to tech stephen, uga is too far up aj greene’s a* right now, you’ll be in his shadow

I bought tickets from GA Tech four years ago just so I would get my away game ticket for the UGA - Tech game. Will someone over in the projects of Atlanta tell the Tech ticket office to quit calling me at work…I don’t want to buy anymore of Tech’s tickets!
