Junior free safety/A-back Rodriquez Frazier might become the next Flowery Branch link to Georgia Tech.
Flowery Branch senior Daniel Drummond accepted a scholarship offer from the Jackets this summer. And Tech is one of the favorites to land a commitment from one of his teammates, Izaan Cross.
Junior Connor Shaw, the younger brother of Tech quarterback Jaybo Shaw, received an offer from the Jackets earlier this year.
The 6-foot-2, 185-pound Frazier was on Tech’s guest list for their homecoming game against Virginia on Saturday.
“Yeah, he was invited to the game last week,” Flowery Branch coach Lee Shaw said. “He’s getting a lot of correspondence from Georgia Tech.
“I think he first kind of caught their eye in a seven-on-seven league at Tech going into his sophomore year when [former coach] Chan Gailey was there. Overall, he’s getting a lot of inquiries.”
