Stone Mountain linebacker Robert Nelson, one of the state’s most heavily recruited players, said there’s a “chance” he’ll commit to Georgia Tech if he is offered by the Yellow Jackets.
Nelson, who is one of the state’s leaders in scholarship offers with 32, has been talking with Tech’s coaches and plans to attends the team’s Nov. 20 game against Miami.
Some of Nelson’s other favorites, among his offers, are Auburn, South Carolina and Tennessee.
“It feels good,” said Nelson, a 6-foot, 205-pound inside linebacker. “It lets me know that colleges have noticed my hard work and love for the game.”
“I look forward to going to college and playing at the next level,” he said.
Nelson is ranked as the 32nd best linebacker in the nation by Rivals.

Robert, hope you stay in-state to play your college career. Good luck, hope Tech offers and you get your degree. Great way to start a life.
