Georgia Tech a contender for Lassiter OT Wentz
The Atlanta Journal-Constitution
Categories
After withdrawing his commitment from Stanford Sunday evening, Duke, Georgia Tech, Louisville, Rutgers and Vanderbilt appear to be the new front-runners for Lassiter offensive tackle Camden Wentz.
A link to Tech is Jackets co-offensive line coach Mike Sewak, whose son, Michael Sewak, plays on the Lassiter offensive line alongside Wentz.
“Yeah, I do have a good relationship with [coach Sewak] and his family,” Wentz said. “I like Georgia Tech’s football program and the school.
“But it just has to be what feels right. I’d take an official [visit] there if they do offer. They’re definitely up there.”
Wentz, a member of the AJC’s The Georgia Top 150, visited Louisville on Saturday.
