Heritage junior DB Garry Peters favors Florida over UGA, Georgia Tech

Georgia and Georgia Tech have requested film on Heritage junior sensation Garry Peters. But Florida has inside position for one of the state’s top prospects for 2010.
“Florida is his favorite,” Heritage coach Chad Frazier said. “If they offered, that is where he would want to go.”
Frazier said Georgia assistant Jon Fabris and Georgia Tech assistant Brian Jean-Mary came to Heritage to request film on Peters.
“He is a phenomenal football player,” Frazier said. “He is one of the better athletes I’ve seen in 12 years of coaching.”
Only South Carolina has offered the 6-foot, 180-pounder. Tennessee, Alabama, Vanderbilt, Florida, Oregon and Indiana, among others, have requested film.
“He has got to work on taking everything a little more serious,” Frazier said. “But as far as his athletic ability, he is phenomenal.”
Peters plays quarterback and defensive back for Heritage and is being recruited at cornerback and safety.
“Defensively, he can diagnose plays before they happen,” Frazier said. “If he makes a mistake, he can easily recover.”

If he wants to go to Florida then he obviously isn’t too smart so it might be a good fit. At the same time, he should move his family down to that hell hole of a state.

No offense…..but he might just be a good fit for the Gamecocks. Another project for Spurrier w/ someone who “has to take some things a little more serious”????
