Cartersville’s Donovan Tate deciding between UGA and LSU for final trip

Cartersville quarterback Donavan Tate said he is deciding between Georgia and LSU for his last official visit.
Tate is the son of former Georgia tailback Lars Tate.
“It’s down to those two,” Tate said. “Georgia is where my parents went to school, I’ve grown up watching a lot of games there.”
Tate has already taken a recruiting trip to USC, and said his next three official visits will be Michigan on Nov. 15, North Carolina on Nov. 22, and Alabama (undetermined).
Tate, who is projected to be a first-round selection in June’s baseball draft, said he has no preference over playing quarterback or safety in college.

if he is going to be a 1st round baseball pick, does it really matter where his last official visit will be?

Donovan, as a UGA fan, go to LSU, enjoy yourself. We would love to have you in Athens, but we know that your future lies in MLB. Good luck to you !

Joe Blow……You obviously are GT or LSU fan to make a statement like that. Donovan come to UGA, you can play both and then decide which direction your future lies. Your Dad was a great Dawg, what ever you decide, Good luck! Go Dawgs!
