Arkansas coach Bobby Petrino to welcome Carver-Columbus LB on visit
The Atlanta Journal-Constitution

Carver-Columbus linebacker LeRon Furr is off to Fayetteville, Ark., next weekend on an official visit to watch the Razorbacks take on No. 19-ranked Tulsa.
Furr, a 6-foot-3, 225-pound member of the AJC’s The Georgia 150, said Arkansas assistant Lorenzo Ward invited him to attend its homecoming game on Nov. 1. Arkansas head coach Bobby Petrino has been chasing hard after Furr.
“I was supposed to go this week, but we have a Saturday game,” Furr said.
This will be Furr’s second official visit. He went to Stillwater earlier this month on an official visit to Oklahoma State.
Furr has numerous scholarship offers, but Duke, Arkansas and Oklahoma State are his top choices. He hopes to visit Duke but has not set a date.

I hope your parents raised you better than to even listen to Bobby P’s BS. Good luck son but think before you sign with the JOKE that is PETRINO.

While I completely agree that signing with Bobby Petrino would ne a joke for this young man, given Petrino’s prior disrespect for the young men he has coached at other times, it is nevertheless a real shame that the first person to respond to this story has to label himself as someone of Petrino’s ilk by using a vulgar “handle” for himself. Did your parents raise you better than that?
