Texas WR sets official visit to Georgia Tech

Jeremy Moore, a 6-foot-3, 180-pound wide receiver who committed to Georgia Tech during the summer, has set a tentative date to take his official visit.

“I’m going to try to take my official visit to Tech on the 12th and 13th of December,” said Moore, who has caught 21 passes for 450 yards and five touchdowns this season for Johnson High in Austin, Tex.

He also has plans to buy his own tickets to watch Tech’s game at rival Georgia.

Moore showed up at a camp over the summer at Tech and wound up impressing coach Paul Johnson and his staff.

After receiving a scholarship offer several days later, Moore quickly accepted.

He’s been able to watch three of Tech’s games on television this fall.

“I think Tech is doing great,” he said of the Jackets’ 6-1 start. “Coach Johnson came up with a lot of enthusiasm. I’m glad he’s running that [triple option] offense.

“It’s not all about passing. You can run the ball and it opens up the passing.”

Nice to see you wanted to play for the best coach in the state of Georgia. Paul Johnson only recruits bright guys who can not only make it into school, graduate and stay out of prison, they can also play.

Welcome to Tech!

Why the hell do all these UGAly people post on the Tech blog? I realize you guys can’t get jobs with the “degrees” (sic) you “earn” between “visits” to jail, but Jeez, get a life. Go waste your time somewhere else. I’m betting if you had to post your real name, you wouldn’t be dropping these cowardly bombs on the Tech blog.

Go Jackets and THWG!

Dawgs post on here cause they’re at home with the kids while their wife/sister is out picking up happy meals.Nothing else to do unless they’re going to register again and vote in the election.
