Dunwoody RB Treavor Scales headed to Harvard

Treavor Scales is a practical kind of guy. The Dunwoody senior running back knows there are plenty of benefits that can come with football.

Scales recently made a football/academic decision, and Harvard proved to be the winner over Columbia University, Air Force and Presbyterian.

“The opportunity is astronomical. Just walking out with a Harvard degree is second to none,” said Scales, who carries a grade-point average of 3.92 in advanced classes and has been the school’s class president since he was in eighth grade. “Plus, I felt very comfortable with the coaches up there. I just knew I wanted to be a part of it.”

The hard-running 5-foot-10, 190-pounder has been instrumental for Dunwoody, 7-0 and ranked fifth in Class AAA, by running for 804 yards and 14 touchdowns on 109 carries.

Ask every team that he has played against if he is one of the best they have seen and I am sure they will tell you the same. “YES” This young man is thinking life after football. Way to go Treavor.

Justmyopinion, get a life, oh sorry you are not a college graduate so you do not understand what’s more important football or education.
