Clemson loses another recruit, fourth since Bowden’s departure

Clemson has lost its fourth commitment since Tommy Bowden’s departure, according to GoGamecocks.
Tailback Ben Axon of Bradenton, Fla., switched from Clemson to archrival South Carolina on Monday.
Axon provided some strong opinions for the website: “It was just the sudden downfall of the Clemson program. They are going downhill. They lost to Georgia Tech, which I thought was very important to [Clemson interim coach Dabo Swinney] … Clemson felt like home to me. But I’ve made my decision and I hope everybody respects that.”
Baldwin linebacker Corico Hawkins, Georgia’s only player committed to Clemson, told the AJC’s Phillip Giltman that he remains loyal to the Tigers

He decommitted from Clemson because they were going down hill. He then committed to South Carolina. Speaking of a program that is going down hill…South Carolina! Oh well, they might get to a bowl game this year.

This this tough for the Clemson program. I’ve always respected what they do over there….Hopefully they will overcome this for their sake. Anyways Go Dawgs lets get after LSU this Weekend!

You would think that UGA could pick up some of these recruits, wouldn’t you? Oh but wait they are still talking about how they should have played championship last year. Well you all had your chance before getting blown out by a much better much youger Alabama team. Still think you all deserve to play for the National Championship? How about just winning the SEC East first and then on to the SEC championship - oh but wait the Gators and LSU Tigers stand between you and SEC Championship. Oh well good luck in 2009 that is UGA’s year right? Heard that before haven’t we? Oh and stop crying about your poor offensive line - how hard is it to block somebody? Bunch of crybabies in Athens will always only have one Nat Championship because they simply do not know how to win the big games. Such a sorry program - good but never great. Richt has a great record except in the big games. Oh well!
