North Gwinnett’s Kenny Barnes committed to Wofford College after making an unofficial visit this past weekend.
“I think it’s a great fit,” North Gwinnett coach Bob Sphire said. “Kenny’s done a really great job for us, and I think he’s got a lot of upside to become a physical tight end. He’s a first-class kid.”
After committing, Barnes, a 6-2, 215-pound tight end, cancelled this weekend’s unofficial visit to Furman.

Congrats Kenny. You deserve it. Keep your head on straight and keep working hard. Help guide the Bulldogs back to the state championship game.

Welcome to the “Terrier Nation”! We are small, but we are proud - of our football, our emphasis on the classroom, and our history of successful alumni!
We love football as much as anyone but we are also a tight-knit family off the field as well. Your four years at Wofford will be well spent. Godspeed!

Wofford over Furman, absolutely.
Wofford has better football since joining the SoCon, better school atmosphere, and hotter women!

“Wofford over Furman?”
Yeah Wofford over Furman, why not? Its 2008 and the Terriers are one of the premier I-AA programs in the country. Furman is still a good program but Wofford has proven they are on the rise while the Paladins have fallen some compared to early part of this decade.
