Tennessee gets involved with Miller Grove WR Stephen Grove

While Georgia Tech and UGA appear ready to battle it out over Miller Grove wide receiver Stephen Hill, other schools are quietly joining the race for the sleeper prospect.

Latrell Scott, Tennessee’s wide receivers coach, was scheduled to visit with Hill on Friday, according to Miller Grove coach Jasper Jewell.

“They really like Stephen a lot, but they’ve had trouble getting down here,” Jewell said. “However, with Tennessee playing at Georgia on Saturday, it was the perfect time for [Scott] to come over to our school on Friday.”

The 6-foot-5, 190-pound Hill was offered last week by Georgia Tech, Boston College Mississippi and Troy. Hill, who was an early commitment to Central Florida, has also been in contact with Georgia, Alabama and Mississippi State.
