Georgia commit Fontaine prepares for visit to Athens

Following two visits to Athens during the summer, Dartmouth (Mass.) High’s Arthur Fontaine, a Georgia commit, gets his first game day experience at Sanford Stadium on Saturday when he takes an official visit to watch the Dogs host Tennessee.

“I’m really pumped for my first football game down there,” said Fontaine, who is considered the fifth-best tight end in the nation by Scout.com. “It will be real fun.

“I don’t know who my host will be, but I’m planning on seeing [other Georgia commits] Zach Mettenberger and Jordan Love.”

Fontaine will fly into Atlanta on Saturday morning and return home Sunday evening.

“I’ll get to Athens around noon on Saturday and just kind of go from there,” he said. “I’ll probably spend some time going around Athens and hanging out with some of the guys.

“I’ve been talking to Aaron Murray and some of the other [commits]. They tell me they love Georgia and it’s great. I kind of know what to expect this weekend, but I’m thrilled to see what it’s like.”

Fontaine said he hopes to attend one other home game this fall and plans to take an unofficial visit to Athens during the winter.

Who Cares???? He is another Trip Chandler!!! I want the TE from Plant High, the Orsen kid. He looks tougher and he looks like he can block better.

Don’t knock Tripp Chandler. He got good in the middle of the 2007 Alabama game and didn’t drop balls for the rest of the season.
