Washington DB Branden Smith sets five official visits

Booker T. Washington cornerback Branden Smith, who is ranked as the state’s No. 1 prospect by Rivals, has revealed his five official visits.

Smith, a member of the AJC’s Super Southern 100, will take trips to Florida next weekend, Tennessee on Oct. 25, Auburn on Nov. 15, Clemson on Nov. 29, and Georgia (date to be determined).

“Right now, all I want to say is those are my top five visits, not my final five schools [because] I’m still open to everybody,” Smith said before his game on Friday.

this guy is milking the publicity. Nothing wrong with that. Hopefully in the end he realizes to stay at home and go to UGA.

Smart to check out your options and make sure that the fit is right as you will be spending the next 4 years of your life at that school. Hear a lot of nice things about Branden Smith off the field that is so very refreshing. Hope you will come join Coach Richt at UGA but regardless of your decision Best Wishes and Good Luck!

Could be our next “Champ” if he did attended UGA! Great kid with a great attitude and wants to make every play. This is the home town kid that we don’t want to let get away. He would be the missing link in our defense and a spark on special teams. Listen… the reason we loss to Bama is because we didn’t have enough playmakers on our defense especially in the secondary, corners primarily. And to be great in the SEC and no.1 in the country you need top flight corners, which this kid definitly is. A hometown product that can help us turn the corner! LETS GET ‘EM!
