DEL.ICIO.USTennessee, Oregon ask for film of North Gwinnett QB Michael Tamburo

Tennessee, which recently had one of its two quarterback recruits back out of a commitment, and Oregon have requested senior film of North Gwinnett quarterback Michael Tamburo.
“[Tennessee] told my coaches they still want to probably sign two quarterbacks, and asked for some film,” Tamburo said. “Oregon said they are real interested and they would get back to me as soon as they watch the tape.”
The Volunteers had two commitments at quarterback, Josh Nunes of Upland, Calif., and Bryce Petty of Midlothian, Texas. Nunes told VolQuest that he had changed his mind because of distance, and committed to Stanford.
The 6-foot-1, 185-pound Tamburo has offers from Tulsa, Air Force and Louisiana-Monroe.

Justmyopinion: sucks? really? Do everybody a favor and keep your scumbag comments like that to yourself. Does it make you feel good about yourself to say that about a kid? Unless you are a kid yourself. You are a idiot. A starting AAAAA QB in a football factory like Gwinnett County. Starting since he was a sophomore. Led County in passing that same year . Played against top level competition like Norcross, Brookwood, Peachtree Ridge year in and year out. I guess Oregon, Tennessee recruiters dont know what they are talking about but you do. I have been around athletes all my life played high school with a ALL-SEC tight End at Ga who played in the NFL for 12 yrs. I played myself for Erk Russell in the 80’s at Ga. Southern. Please someone respond and show this guy I am not alone for calling this guy for what he really is for saying “HE Sucks” about a 17 or 18 yr old kid. love you buddy-K

Kevrock, I agree with you man. Know one should ever rip this kid. not like that. He is a great player and we will find out where he ends up soon enough. I hate people that come on here and bash kids. Justmyopinion, why dont you think before you post. Whether you like the kid or not have more class.
