How It Went: Lassiter’s Lutzenkirchen visits Auburn

Lassiter tight end Philip Lutzenkirchen was among the recruits in attendance during Auburn’s 14-12 victory over Tennessee at Jordan-Hare Stadium on Saturday.

“The game was great and it was very loud,” said Lutzenkirchen, an AJC’s The Georgia Top 150 pick, who committed to the Tigers in May.

The day’s highlights included witnessing an Auburn pregame ritual and spending a moment chatting with Auburn coach Tommy Tuberville.

“The Tiger Walk was fun,” Lutzenkirchen said. “It was crazy. And talking to coach Tuberville was good.

“I just asked him how the season is going.”
