UGA-bound QB Aaron Murray bringing special guest to Athens

Tampa, Fla., quarterback Aaron Murray, who committed to Georgia, isn’t wasting any time making it to Athens.

After Plant High plays tonight, Murray is going to change clothes and begin his seven-hour journey. He will spend the night near the Georgia border, and plans to be at the Bulldogs’ football offices around 11 a.m, about nine hours before kickoff.

“This is my first trip for a game, and I want to make the most of every minute of it,” Murray said.

Murray is bringing a special guest — Orson Charles, his Plant teammate who is ranked as the nation’s No. 2 tight end by Rivals. Charles favors Miami, but also is considering Georgia, Florida, and Florida State.

Rarely a day goes by without Murray trying to recruit Charles for the Bulldogs. “I’m always mentioning Georgia, but he knows in the end it’s his decision to make, and no one else.”

I hope lots of recruits are coming to this game. The atmosphere will be so electric that recruits will be thoroughly impressed even if the Dawgs lose a close one.

The TE is good, but he’s not leaving the state of FL - most likely going to Miami. The QB is ok when he’s not under any pressure. His h.s. team throws the ball 50 times a game and all of his wr’s, te’s are transfer ins from out of his h.s.’s district, not really a fair way to judge him; except for the 1 good team they’ve played this year.. they held the vaunted Murray/Plant H.S. attach to 2 points! 2 points?? Tim Tebow was never held to 2 pts and scortched the same team that held Murray to 2 points! Go Gators!

King Gator… sounds like someone stole your lunch box at school. You seem to know alot about things that don’t really matter. See if mom can give you a.25 raise in your allowance, it sometimes helps. Get some sleep, spelling test tomorrow.

That tight end is not good enough for Georgia. Good luck in Miami, Orson. Sorry, don’t need you.

Paddy, I was gonna say the same thing….lol. King Gator is pretty bright too, when he says the QB is pretty good unless he’s under pressure…duh…being under pressure would be a major contributing factor to a QB not performing well. Murray’s O-Line is not great but the kid is good or he wouldn’t be rated the #3 prospect by ESPNU.

34 recruits are going to be at the game. Marlong Brown is the biggest fish there. Starling going to be there too, along with Smith and Charles. HUGE recruiting day for the Dawgs.

Sounds a lot like college huh prince gator? Imagine a guy showing he’s good when given the best TE’s, and WR’s…. shocking!

He didn’t commit to uf… get over it.
