Georgia Tech quarterback commit Jordan Luallen of Greenwood, Ind. isn’t surprised to see the Jackets off to a 3-1 start under new coach Paul Johnson.
“I think a lot of people will be excited about this program and what it will do for years to come,” predicted Luallen, who attended Tech’s victory over Mississippi State on Saturday.
Luallen, who committed to Tech in May, continues to hear from colleges closer to his home. But he has his heart set on playing for the Jackets.
“Georgia Tech has treated me great from the beginning,” said Luallen, who is considered the 26th-best quarterback in the nation by Scout.com. “There have been some schools recruiting me strong. But I have such great respect for Tech. It’s hard for me to think about another school.
“I don’t think about any school other than Georgia Tech. That’s my home.”
Luallen plans to attend Tech’s home game against Duke on Oct. 4.
