Who will be this year’s most colorful recruit?
Defensive end Sam Montgomery of Greenwood, S.C., who has around 40 offers, is an early favorite.
The good-natured Montgomery told GoGamecocks.com he had a good time at South Carolina for last week’s Georgia game. “I’ve never been to a USC game and people not call my name. I feel like I’m at home, like I can walk around with no drawers on. It’s just so comfortable.”
Georgia made a late offer to Montgomery, who said his five official visits will be Southern Cal, Miami, Michigan, LSU and Oregon.
