Norcross quarterback Charles King, cousin of former NFL quarterback Shaun King, has postponed his official visit to Oregon State.
King was scheduled to fly out on Thursday morning, watch Oregon State play No. 1 Southern Cal later that evening, and then return to Norcross on Friday morning.
However, King said his high school coach asked if he could reschedule the trip, especially with Norcross coming off last week’s loss to North Gwinnett.
The 6-foot-2, 190-pound King said he is leaning to the Beavers, which have hinted at an offer but want to spend time with him before making a final decision.
“They want to do the eye test, and if everything works out, they said they’d offer,” King said.
King has offers from Idaho, Nevado-Reno and Western Carolina, along with an official visit scheduled to Arizona State next month.
King prefers West Coast schools because he moved to Georgia nearly four years ago from California. His father, who played college football at Fresno State, had a job transfer.
“I get a lot of ribbing about how good the SEC or ACC is, but growing up in California I’ve always dreamed about competing in the PAC 10,” King said.

So does anybody know what position he’s being recruited to play. I’ve seen this kid play - he is a tremendous athlete. The Oregon State Qback is 5’11 so they have no problem playing undersized guys,..heck the RB that waxed SC was 5’7.
Can anybody tell what position he’s being recruited to play?
