This is great news for Georgia State University (GSU). The CAA is buzzing over this commitment. Such great news to get such another quality recruit away from the major programs.

Watch out GSU is coming to a town near you. This should be a break out year for the Panthers considering their transfers, recruits, and returning players.

Great job by Rod. Although as anyone who follows GSU knows, none of this would have been possible without the groundwork that Lefty laid. Would have been nice to see what Perry would have done if he was given an actual chance more than the mere two years in CAA. I hear the AD is a real problem and that she’ll be gone before ever seeing success in hoops or football.

See you at the games.

Panther Fan #1: Would love to know where you are getting your information from. First off, if you went to all the games you would know Perry was fired because he was flat out a bad coach. Good guy, but a bad coach. And the Lefty comment isn’t really valid either as there was a long time between Lefty and Rod and we were on a fast and painful slide downwards after Lefty’s departure. And the AD is a problem??? Wow, all she has done is turn around a bush league run department into what finally looks like a real D-1 program.
