Stockbridge’s Rachell to visit Memphis

Stockbridge linebacker Thad Rachell is planning to visit Memphis University this weekend for the Tigers’ game against Nicholls State.

Rachel, who is awaiting official offers, has drawn interested from SEC and ACC schools, but Memphis has drawn his attention because former Stockbridge quarteback Tyler Bass is playing for the Tigers.

“It’s a good school,” said Rachel, a member of the AJC’s The Georgia 150. “They have good academics and a good program. It seems like the coaches are real good and they take care of you up there.”
