Parkview’s Brandon Jacobs observes Auburn

Parkview tailback Brandon Jacobs, who has committed to Auburn, went on an unofficial visit to see the Tigers play Southern Miss.

The 6-foot-1, 230-pound Jacobs picked Auburn over offers from Wake Forest and Alabama-Birmingham. He is a member of the AJC’s The Georgia Top 150 and ranked as the nation’s No. 53 running back by Rivals.

Jacobs rushed for nearly 200 yards and three touchdowns against Chattahoochee on Friday.

Auburn has had good luck signing running backs from Parkview, luring Brad Lester from the Gwinnett powerhouse.
