DEL.ICIO.USOklahoma State reacts to item on the AJC college recruiting blog

A posting on the Atlanta Journal-Constitution’s college recruiting blog earlier this week, which focused on Douglas County quarterback Tony Caldwell, has captured the attention of coaches at Oklahoma State.
Monday’s blog revealed that Caldwell opened his senior season on Friday by completing 19 of 27 passes for 274 yards and one touchdown.
The entry, which was posted at 12:16 p.m., also noted that he threw for 354 yards in one game and rushed for more than 200 yards in another during his junior season.
And it went on to mention that Caldwell maintains a 3.8 GPA and scored a 1680 on the SAT.
Those lofty statistics caught the eye of recruiters in Stillwater.
“Oklahoma State called on Monday,” Caldwell said. “They called my coach and said they saw the article on me on the Internet and they want a highlight tape after my first three games.
“I would definitely be interested in Oklahoma State if they want me to come out and visit, or if they offer.”
Caldwell, a member of the AJC’s The Georgia Top 150, is also receiving interest from Furman, Georgia Southern, Middle Tennessee State and Wake Forest.

Hey Cowboys. Did you like my posts too. I usually write salacious things in regard to GTech athletics — go figure! Although, the other SEC schools sometimes get it from me too. Anyway, just saying hi to all those people out here reading the garbage that the AJC posts, especially from such wonders like Terrence “I Hate White People” Moore.
It screams desperation that you are looking at he AJC, which we refer to as the urinal, for recruiting info. Can you get your coach to do another rant on uTube? I thought that was hysterical. High Comedy, what hyjinks: “I’m a man!”
You Oklyhomos might one day be of significance if you could find one more bazillionaire to grease the system and buy your way into the light — you are on your way now! Just look at Oregon & Nike! Too bad Emory refuses to get a football team, they have Coke!
P.S. Tell all them ingins I said How! I heard Oklyhomo is just an Indian Reserve. We used to have some of them in Georgia, but we ran them off — I hear they were “crying” the whole way out of town.
