Carries by Milton’s Toney Williams, a member of the AJC’s The Georgia 150, who has committed to Tennessee. Williams had 350 yards and six rushing touchdowns and one receiving touchdown.
Expect that many carries?
“I expected to get 30. I knew I was going to get a lot, but it kind of surprised me. I kind of expect to lead the offense.”
Fatigue factor?
“I was really tired. I was drinking Pedialite on the sideline to keep from cramping up. My line made it easy for me. They made big holes, and the fullbacks did a good job blocking for me.”
Teammates excitement?
“I got reminded, but that wasn’t a lot of focus. We just wanted to win the game. I just knew I had to keep on plugging and keep going downhill.”

toney is one of the best running backs in the state. how many guys are there that can go out on the first game of the season and rush for THREE HUNDRED AND FIFTY YARDS AND SEVEN YEAH SEVEN TOUCHDOWNS. that is just rediculous, and not to mention he seemed to hurt his neck real bad in the first half of the game but he still put up those numbers. toney is going to carry our Milton Eagles into the state playoffs and give us, the students, a good chance to watch the state championship drought end. but toney is right if he didnt have bradley beaty, kyle cregge, and robby hoffman blocking for him he probably wouldnt of put up the three hundred and fifty yards. toney you are the man
