Dunwoody’s King eyes academics

Dunwoody linebacker Jerry King says academics will be a major factor in his college decision.

The 6-foot, 225-pound middle linebacker has his list down to UAB, Samford, Wofford, Tulane and Central Florida. He hasn’t scheduled visits yet, but plans to make one to Samford soon.

“It’s wide open,” said King, who has a 3.0 grade-point average. “I’m going to look at each one and make a decision based on the education they have to offer. I really want to make the right decision.”
