Tulsa-bound Brodsky of Milton set for senior season

His schedule won’t permit him to attend next weekend’s Tulsa/UAB contest in Birmingham, but Milton deep-snapper Michael Brodsky says he’ll definitely make it to at least one Tulsa home game this season.
Brodsky, who committed to the Golden Hurricane in July, is considered one of the nation’s premier long snappers.
He remains solid with Tulsa, though he continues to hear from other programs.
Many of those schools have offered a preferred walk-on status. His offer from Tulsa is a full scholarship.
“Georgia Tech is interested and so is South Carolina,” Brodsky said. “Georgia Tech brought me in way back in the beginning of the summer.
“And I’ve heard from Miami (Ohio), Houston, Middle Tennessee State and Georgia Southern. But I’m definitely staying with Tulsa.”
Milton opens the season tonight against Chattahoochee, which is led by Wake Forest-bound quarterback Brendan Cross.
“I’m good friends with Brendan,” said Brodsky, who will enroll at Tulsa next summer. “His dad [former NFL player Randy Cross] taught me how to snap the ball.”
