Jarvis Jones mulls over Saturday games

Jarvis Jones, arguably the state’s top prospect, said it will be a last-minute decision on which college game he attends on Saturday.
The linebacker from Carver of Columbus says he might go with some of his friends to watch Clemson-Alabama at the Georgia Dome. Or he might go watch Florida play Hawaii. “Or I may just stay here, because my brother is supposed to be coming home.”
The 6-foot-4, 220-pound linebacker has narrowed down to seven schools: Miami, Florida, Georgia, Clemson, Texas, LSU, and Southern Cal. Jones said he is finishing up his paperwork with the NCAA Clearinghouse before scheduling any official visits.

Is this really newsworthy? His weekend plans? Why don’t you report what he had for dinner last night? Was it chicken?

Wow, thanks AJC on the “cutting edge” of sports. Jarvis Jones is thinking about thinking, and he may just have an idea too.
