Gainesville DE Jackson to attend Ft. Valley/Clark Atlanta game

Josh Jackson, a 6-foot-2, 248 pound senior defensive end for Gainesville, has set his first visit of the upcoming season.

“I’m going to see Fort Valley State play Clark Atlanta on Saturday,” Jackson said. “Fort Valley is showing a lot of interest in me.”

But a four-year college based in Charlotte, N.C. will likely provide Jackson with his first scholarship offer.

“Johnson C. Smith University will probably offer as soon as the season starts,” he said. “And Grambling and Florida A&M have been talking to me and are interested in seeing how my season goes.

“I’ve got an invitation to visit Middle Tennessee State. I’ll try to get up there soon.”
