Other schools not giving up Tech commit Sweeting

Georgia Tech had two commitments for its 2009 class switch to other schools. Luella defensive back Roderick Sweeting, who was leaning toward Auburn before committing to the Yellow Jackets, said he is standing by his college decision.
Sweeting said Alabama, Kentucky, and Maryland are still making overtures, trying to convince him to change his mind.
“I thought I made it pretty clear that I was going to Tech, but I’m not surprised I’m still hearing from the other schools,” Sweeting said. “It doesn’t bother me. That’s their job, to recruit, so I’m sure they’ll stay on me but I’m going to Georgia Tech.”

Not surprised about Saban trying to get Georgia talent to Alabama before that program dries up and blows away.
Saban is by far the most overpaid coach in CFB. How much longer before Alabama goes back to their old cheatin’ ways? Desperation will set in soon after Clemson spanks them next weekend.

It doesn’t surprise me that other schools continue to recruit Tech commits, especially Satan, I mean Saban — he always goes after other schools’ guys. He’s kind of like that “guy” that you warn your wife or girlfriend about — hits on them to p** you off. I always make damn sure my wife and girlfriend are always away from each other.
Then again, Tech is an easy target since their program sucks sooooo bad.
Recruiter: “are you sure? are you really sure you want to throw away your football future in such an obscure program? Really? The ACC, really really?”
Recruit: “Well, no, I’m not 100% sure I want to suck!”

YELLERSKEETER: Please keep posting. You will drive more UGA recruits to other schools than promises of NFL contracts.
