Washington DB Branden Smith to make Jan. 4 decision
The Atlanta Journal-Constitution

Booker T. Washington cornerback Branden Smith said he will wait until the Under Armour All-Star game on Jan. 4 to announce his college decision.
“That should give me plenty of time to visit colleges and think about what I’m going to do,” said Smith, who is a member of the AJC’s Super Southern 100 and ranked as country’s No. 4 cornerback by Rivals.
Smith only participated in two camps this summer, LSU and Auburn. However, he made unofficial visits to several colleges, including Georgia and Alabama. Smith said he was really impressed with the Crimson Tide a few weeks ago.
“I liked [Coach Nick Saban],” Smith said. “I think it’s always a good thing when your position coach is also the head coach.”

Hopefully he’ll be smart enough not to end up in Tuscaloosa…Saban’s ur buddy right up until you sign. After that, he’s worse than Petrino to deal with. Hope you look elsewhere bud.

A friend of the Devil is a friend of mine. Saban is the “most powerful coach in America?” Really? How can we compete? You notice that if you take the “B” out of Saban, and replace it with a “T” … daVinci Code stuff. If I were Sideburn U, and Tubbyvile, I’d be shaking in my shoes.
Oh, and Tech Sucks it!

Smith just implied that he is not going to UGA…..January 4th/ UGA will have their cornerback commits by then, which will make it easy for Sith to go elsewhere without any pressure on him.

Saban is gonna have that team stocked by 2010. We can hate him all we want. Might as well get ready for it.

Nick Saban does not change at all after recruitment. He works you hard and asks a lot of you on the field because he wants nothing but the best from his players. Off the field he is a really cool guy and very easy to get along with. I hope Alabama lands this exciting young athlete.
