Tucker DL Deion Roberson picks five for official visits
The Atlanta Journal-Constitution
Categories
Tucker defensive lineman Deion Roberson said he will make official visits to the following five schools: Tennessee, Florida State, Michigan State, West Virginia and Maryland.
The 6-foot-3, 270-pound Roberson does not have scholarship offers from Tennessee and Florida State, but he said both of those schools have told him that he is a scholarship candidate and that he most likely will get an offer. Roberson said he had not set up dates for his visits, but will schedule next month.
Roberson is a member of the AJC’s Georgia Top 150.

There you go again, AJC, inventing the news. There is nothing “newsworthy” here — nothing about UGA in the article, so why report it?
Bottom line: if it ain’t about UGA, it ain’t news!

This is a big mistake that many top level cfb prospects make. Roberson should not take an official visit to a school that hasn’t even offered him. Why go someone where you’re not wanted, unless you want to sit on the bench 4 years and have a chance to start yr. 5? Roberson should o not committ to any visits until he is offered by those schools. Heck, I’m sure George O’Leary down at UCF is looking for some OL of his caliber where he could earn a degree and most likely compete for a starting spot as a rs freshman or sophomore.
