Douglas County QB Tony Caldwell awaits offers

Douglas County QB Tony Caldwell made the recruiting rounds during the summer, attending camps at Wake Forest, Middle Tennessee State, East Carolina, Furman and Georgia Southern.

The 6-foot, 200-pound Caldwell is still waiting for his first offer. But he has been told he is a scholarship candidate at several schools, including MTSU and Wake Forest.

“They all told me to mail them film after my first four games,” Caldwell said. “Georgia Southern said if they like what they see, that they are going to offer me.”

Caldwell is a member of the AJC’s Georgia Top 150
