Oklahoma State hot on the trail of Cedar Shoals LB Lattimore

Cedar Shoals’ DeDe Lattimore saw his scholarship count climb to 15 last week after claiming an offer from Marshall.

The intimidating 6-foot-1, 225-pound linebacker already had offers from programs such as Central Florida, Kentucky, Louisville, Michigan, Oklahoma State, South Florida and UAB.

“Oklahoma State is recruiting me the hardest,” Lattimore said. “I want to go there this fall. I also want to visit Michigan, Louisville and Central Florida.”

Lattimore, who lives in Athens, said he’s been a fan of the Wolverines for several years.

“My third grade teacher loved Michigan and he got me to loving them too,” he said.

Lattimore is scheduled to retake the SAT in September. He needs to improve on the 840 he scored in the spring.

“I’ve hired my own tutor to help me prepare,” he said.

Somebody help out here…It has been many, many years since I first took the SAT exam. What is max score? What is a qualifing score for UGA/Tech? What is considered a good SAT score? Is the SAT combined with GPA for admission? Know this is alot but fill in some of the blanks for me. I may not even be asking the right questions? Thanks

A perfect score is 2400 points in three sections Writing -200-800, Math 200-800 & Critical reading 200-800 points each. The national average is 1530. Your recruit has some work to do.

I know DEDE he’s a pretty good guy but a hot head. I play with him for cedar (I’m OL\DL) he’s a great linebacker i’ve seen him power clean 350 pounds and bench 300 as a juinor. he could go really far if he commits himself to something. his only problem with going to a big school is that he needs to get his scores up. i mean an 840 holy crap i need to tutor him i got a 1540 my first time my junior year. if he gets it up expect to see him on espn sometime in the 09 football season.

I kno DeDe he is one of the nations best all around football players. I mean when I was in the 8th grade he was in the 7th and he was one of if not the hardest hitters on the field. When he got to high school he started at the middle linebacker position and was a real force to deal with.
