Perry’s Johnnie Farms plans Auburn trip

Perry’s Johnnie Farms, who is one of the nation’s most heavily recruited offensive linemen, said he has one more college to visit this summer.

“Auburn, that’s where I want to go,” Farms said. “My high school coaches said they will take me there soon so I can look around.”

The 6-foot-3, 285-pound Farms said he only went to Alabama and South Carolina camps this summer. He has 38 scholarship offers and is ranked as the country’s No. 9 offensive guard by Rivals.

Farms has remained tight-lipped about which colleges are at the top of his list, but he said playing time and location will be the two most important factors.

“I’d like to play close to home so my family and friends can watch me play,” he said.

Has UGA not offered this kid? What are they waiting for?

If he is concerned with location, the only Major program closer to Perry than Auburn is Ga Tech. You can be in Auburn from Perry in less than hour and a half…

Auburn has one of the best O.Line coaches in the nation. Would be a wise choice. Tech and UGA are good choices as well.

He would be a very good O-lineman @ Georgia. Representing his state and family; while being coached by one of the best, Stacy Searels! The Dawgs would love to have you, Johnny!

Johnnie,

Stacy Searles @ UGA may be willing to take a pay check from Georgia, but when he wanted to go college and play football, he chose AUBURN.

Johnnie, Go with your instinct Johnnie. I’m a Middle GA native and Auburn grad. Beleive me. You will love it at Auburn. BTW, It’s an easier and quicker drive to AU than it is to UGA.

Do you want to go where the eagles fly or where the Dawgs lie on a bag of ice.

Mr. Farms, if playing time is your concern, come to Carolina. You would probably start right away and it’s an easy drive to boot. Not to mention you will be part of something that’s never been done before at Carolina too.

Johnnie Farms will either go to UF or AL.

Big Dog is right Johnny Farms likes Alabama and Florida. The DAWGS could but will not get him. He isn’t going to auburn. auburn is losing all the big dawgs to Alabama and Saban.

Don’t believe a word that comes out of the dwarfs mouth. The inept bama coaching staff would waste this guys talent. Auburn places more linemen in the NFL.

Saw this beast of a man at his highschools’ weightlifting day, squats over 700 lbs. and benchpressed 400 w/o bouncing off his chest at all, very impressive, hear FL has inside track, wish GA would push more for him
