N.C. State among those to offer for Calhoun DL
The Atlanta Journal-Constitution
Categories
Calhoun’s Eric McDaniel recently landed scholarship offers from East Carolina, N.C. State, Louisville and UAB.
And Alabama, Auburn and Clemson continue to inquire about the 6-foot-2, 297-pound defensive lineman.
“Auburn is probably the one showing the most interest right now from those three schools,” Calhoun coach Hal Lamb said. “But he’s really fired up about N.C. State, East Carolina and Louisville.”
There would likely be more offers for McDaniel had he been able to play his more natural position last fall and participate in all of spring practice.
“He’s probably a sleeper just because we played him out of position last year [at defensive tackle],” Lamb said. “He’ll play at nose for us this year, and I think he’ll dominate at that position.
“We had a lot of coaches come by to see him at spring practice. The only problem was he qualified for the state track meet and he only got out there with us for a couple of days.”

Yeah! Go McDaniel! This guy is a beast and is going to help Calhoun win the AA football championship this year! I’m glad to see someone get some recognition that’s from Calhoun. They have produced some pretty good players for a smaller school, including Georgia wide-out Kris Durham and Georgia Tech’s kickoff starter, Scott Blair. Go Jackets!

Ho Hum. A good fit for STATE? Panters are in need of recruits too — competition for YellerSkeeters. If UGA hasn’t offered yet, they probably won’t … and that means he’s average at best. UGA only offers the best of the best, the premier athlete and he is not. A “sleeper” is a nice way of saying “gamble.” UGA only offers the fully “AWAKENED” prospect!
We are everybody’s pre-season pick to win it all — and I know that really enrages the HATERS! This is going to be a great year for UGA — our 6th National Championship is on the way! 1927, ‘42, ‘46, ‘68, ‘80 (Consensus in ‘42 & ‘80) WORD — look it up for yourself HATERS.
YellowSkeeters (aka: NERDS) Colorado was the REAL National Champion in 1990 (QVEERS were tied) To HeII with GT (North Ave. Nancy Boys) I punch them all square in the nose (Mouthbreathers)!

Isn’t funny that whenever you click on one of these story links you find that I have already been here — this Dawg has marked this territory!
YellerSkeeters buzz-off, p**-off, Go Away! If you never read another UGA related story, you’ll never be offended by me again … but, I think I may start to peruse the SkeeterHive — you know, for s** & giggles!

You idiots need to get the facts straight about the 1990 NC. True, GT was tied by No. Carolina. GT was10-0-1. Colorado was 10-1-1, and needed a 5th down to win their game against Mizzo. Each team had a tie,BUT Colorado had a loss. At any rate, GT has at least 1/2 more NC than UGA in the last 28 years.

Listen Paddy, in 1927(which was a long time ago, when you were just hoping to not be deposited on the ground or in w*******’s belly) Gt defeated UGA 12-0 in the last game of the season. That left them with a record of 9 wins, 2 losses and they were still declared NC. Why do you still say GT was not a NC in 1990?

Big Bee I don’t have any idea what your talking about.I am a huge Ga fan since 1976. I care anything nothing about NC for the dogs or the jackets unless its this coming year. Nancy Boy just needs some new material, he’s boring, thats what my point was. Plus you references are sophomoric and show no class or proper rearing.

Patty, why would be concerned with “rearing” me — I take great offense at that! Do not get behind me! And why do you keep attacking Big Bee?
Lastly, it is a well known fact that Ga Tech IS FOR NANCY BOYS (you know: qveers, buggerers) — like I suspect you to likely be with talk of “Rearing”
