Lassiter TE chooses Auburn
The Atlanta Journal-Constitution
Categories
Lassiter tight end Philip Lutzenkirchen committed to Auburn Friday evening. The 6-foot-4, 230-pound junior chose Auburn over Clemson and Stanford.
“It came down to Auburn and Clemson,” Lutzenkirchen told Inside the Auburn Tigers. “Stanford was in it, but distance became a factor.
“The main reason I liked Clemson was because of the lake. We’ve got a lake house up there. When I kind of factored everything in that was the only reason. The coaches and everything were nice, the facilities were nice, but the main factor was the lake.
“I met the coaches down at Auburn and they’re just awesome. I felt at home.”

Based on history, I would stay away from that lake, too.

That’s great, except that Tony Franklin doesn’t use a tight-end in his west coast offense. LOL!

Take it from a loyal Ole Miss fan, you made an excellent choice young man. Put your studies first and take care of business in the classroom and on the field, and you will do well. Best of luck to you with your career. We’ll see you on the football field!

weagle, don’t be an idiot.
Tony Franklin doesn’t run the west coast offense… he runs the spread offense.
When Tony Franklin was the OC at Kentucky a few years ago, his tight end there was one of the leading receivers in the Southeastern Conference.
The leading receiver for Auburn during Spring practice in March was tight end Tommy Trott.
But thanks for playing and for your obsession with Auburn, bammer.

Choosing Auburn or Clemson to go to college over Stanford is like dating Rosie O’Donnell because Cameron Diaz lives two further blocks away from your house.

Jayjay is gay…AU and Dawgs in SEC championship, winner in NC. I don’t see why you hate Auburn soo much Jayjay to be honest. I don’t hate UGA. It is a great school and my dad teaches there. Auburn has a nicer campus and its easier to stay out of trouble down here and focus on school. If I didn’t want to try something new, I’d be at UGA.
Look at Trott’s spring #’s and say the system doesn’t use TE’s…weagle, you really just made yourself look stupid.

tubs will sacrifice another asst coach this year to save his own @ss.Aubarn is the epitomy of second rate SEC football.they are the Rodney Dangerfield with no comical talent.not a bammer here friend, but that is what the wareagles will never be.if you beat them 10 in a row,you will still not gain the respect that Bama already has earned through their years of dominating the SEC.
