Chamblee RB attends Florida State spring game

Alabama, Florida State and Georgia Tech continue to heavily recruit Chamblee running back Warren Norman.

“No offers right now, but I think Alabama is close to offering,” the 5-foot-10, 191-pound Norman said.

Norman, who possesses 4.42 speed in the 40, spent the weekend in Tallahassee, Fla. attending FSU’s spring game along with a group of other juniors from around the nation.

“It was all real nice,” he said. “I didn’t get to meet coach [Bobby] Bowden one-on-one, but he did talk to us as a group.

“The whole day was great. I’d say the stadium was about 60 percent full. The guy came out on the horse and everybody starting tomahawking.”

Norman is optimistic he will receive an offer from the Seminoles.

“I gave them my tape,” he said. “They want me to come to camp there in July.”

I’ll take any good recruits if they’ll help get FSU turned back around toward the top of the polls.

Good luck Warren. I hope you end up at a program that will let you develop your running skills.

Based on my sources Bama is close to offering.I would strongly advise to go to bama based on best credintials. I would not play for the Nerds or Criminoles because they play in a sissy conference.jUST MY opinion.

The Seminoles and the Crimson Tide would be great schools to play football and go to school there. Bobby Bowden should have been Bama’s head coach in 87 if the search group had not screwed up!! I hope the kid plays for the Noles or Tide!!
