Tech among schools to offer Milton RB

Milton running back Toney Williams holds scholarship offers from Georgia Tech, Indiana, Kentucky, N.C. State, Rutgers and Tennessee. He is also being actively recruited by Florida.

“I don’t have a front-runner right now,” he said said.

The 6-foot-1, 227-pound Williams has visited Tech, Kentucky and Tennessee.

On the Jackets: “I like the facilities,” he said. “I like coach [Paul] Johnson. I’d be a B-back if I go there.

“I do want to go somewhere where they run the ball a lot. That would be a big part of my decision.”

On the Vols: “I like the whole environment there,” he said. “I’m from Chattanooga and I still have relatives there.”

On the Wildcats: “I have a lot of interest in Kentucky,” he said. “They were the first school to offer me.”
