I’m sure someone in the front office thought it would be a good idea to do this as the gator nation “is growing in popularity”, but why not start with your in-state schools? Let’s see some Dawg and Jacket sites. This type of decision making by the ajc is exactly the type stuff that angers many about your paper. Not even confident enough to put a name on it eh?

Maybe you decided since UF has handed out offers to every high school junior with a pulse in the nation that UF is now synonomous with recruiting. I hope these players understand that getting a UF offer is nothing special. Someone else in your shop class probably has one too.

AJC, please do not disrespect the Georgia born citizens of this great state with trash headlines of other out of state institutions. If you are not reporting the good news about UGA, GA Tech, Georgia Southern, GA State, Kennesaw St, Southern Poly, and the likes, please do not give the out of state schools any free press.

By GatorAM

I don’t know why anything Gator-related always brings out the worst in you Georgia natives. Please scroll up to the “Categories” area at the top of the page. See that? THAT’S where you can find recruiting news for your school. Just for fun, I clicked on UGA and on March 18th (I think) is when you all had a “Georgia fan sites” post. Chill the F out. The AJC is just trying to provide a fansite resource to its audience, which includes graduates from schools all over the southeast. Now hush, I’m sick of your whining.

I have subscribed to several, I was a charter member of Gator Bait years ago but I have been with Gator Country for years because they are the Best- Ask Tony Barnhart where he goes on line when he wants the skinny on UF, I bet that Bob Redman & Franz Beard along with Buddy Martin and many others who are on the staff or contribute to Gator Country on Tony’s rolodex. Gator County ought to be on your list- gatorjjh Irvine, Florida gatorcountry.com

Uh, are you kidding me? Any list of Gator fan sites has to start with GatorCountry.com. And it might as well end with it, too. Take the best of every other site there is and it won’t approach the comprehensiveness, the volume of content, the depth of analysis, and they’re always first to “press” when Gator news happens (and they don’t pass off rumors as news). Don’t worry, though - every Gator fan already knows about it, even if your web spotter doesn’t.
