Henry County’s Patterson to visit UGA on Saturday

Henry County junior Jamal Patterson is quickly becoming one of the most coveted receivers in the nation.

Scholarship offers from Auburn, Florida State and Maryland has pushed his overall haul to 30, as of late Wednesday.

“It’s great knowing that all these schools want me, but at the same time I know I can’t stop working,” said Patterson, who is the middle of track season at Henry County.

Patterson, who is regarded as the 32nd-best receiver in the nation by scout.com, already has held offers from programs such as Alabama, Clemson, Florida, South Carolina and Tennessee for several weeks.

Oddly enough, Georgia and Georgia Tech have yet to follow suit.

Tech’s new run oriented scheme likely isn’t a good fit for Patterson’s ability to run deep pass patterns.

“I had been hearing a lot from Tech when coach [Chan] Gailey was there,” Patterson said.

But an offer from the Dogs could come this weekend when Patterson attends junior day in Athens on Saturday.

“It’s not really an actual junior day,” Patterson said. “It’s just a few players that they’ve invited and is more of a project testing for them.”

Does Patterson believe the Dogs will offer?

“There’s no telling,” he said. “I’m not even sure right now. But yeah, it would really be nice if they do offer.”

With spring football practice set to begin on the second Monday in May, Patterson’s schedule over the upcoming weeks will continue to remain hectic.

“I will be going to South Carolina’s spring game, the spring game at Wake Forest, Central Florida and Georgia’s spring game,” he said. “And I’m going to try to make it to Clemson’s spring game as well.”

Gator Bob, Tim Tebow is going to be another Peyton Manning in this regard. He will win big games and have great success but just as Peyton never beat UF while at Tenn. Timmy will never beat UGA while at UF.

Go Dawgs!!!

Tampa Dawg, did you forget this past season was the second year for Tebow at Florida. His first year the gators beat my Dogs.

Please do some fact checking in the future.

Dude, GradyGrad,

Tebow did not beat us in ‘06, He actually almost handed us a game that we were not supposed to be close to winning. As a QUARTERBACK, he won’t beat us. His game plays into our defense way too much. I love the thought of him trying to run over our defense. I only hope this year there are no “Injury” issues with him so that he will try to run the ball even more, and we will put him on his backside, with NO EXCUSES. Watching him cry makes my day, his tears are a great lubricant. Chris Leak scared me much more that this guy.

MasivAtack…Just curious but would that excuse be the same one that UGA fans pulled out when Shockley was injured? Seems UGA ran wild after the loss to UF that year. Guess those Gators cant use it though, huh?

Reshad Schtankinfanger is a highly touted offensive tackle out of Troll Bogies Arkansas that UF is very interested in. Reshad stands at 6’7” and 195 lbs. with great feet and good quickness off the line. Coach Urban Meyer will be attending the Chanel #5 football camp in Okeefanokee Georgia to watch Schtankinfanger compete against other elite HS players including Cedric Muleload, Barnabee Puffer, Don Humsk, Clitidus Washington and the 5 star fullback out of Swamp Florida Chaquita Wang.

This article is about a Junior receiver looking at the Dawgs. You knuckleheads are blabbing about Ga./Fla. Please keep to the subject at hand and do this crap on your own sites.

Jamal, we welcome you to visit our school and all of the schools. Just remember to keep your head on straight and don’t let all of the hype take away from your studies. I hope you decide on the Dawgs!

It is pretty evident why UGA has so many players get into trouble. The fans set the example. Read the blogs. These guys act like a group of 6th grade boys yacking over a cute blond in the 10th grade.

Pretty soon the Georgia - Florida game will be held at either Georgia or Florida and this will even the playing field. Florida fans are a bunch of mullets anyway and need to go back to the sulfur invested beaches and suck a crab. We are going to run you like a bunch of w******* for the next few years.

Enjoy this Dawg in ya….

Tebow played in that game but didn`t get the win because he wasn´t the starting Quarterback.

To SecIsFootball,

HMM, it sure is interesting how Shockley wasnt even in the game and Tebow could still pass the ball like the QB is supposed to do.

Shouldn’t compare different situations if your going to complain about what everyone else posts

His teammate signed with Bama and is already enrolled in school. Alot of his decision will be based on that. Roll Tide. ;-)

Bama fans shouldn’t go calling UGA fans illiterate when they can’t spell “ridiculous” or even “light.” (Perhaps you were thinking of Bud Lite…embarrassing!) Bama fans can’t talk. UGA owns that state anyways. No contest.

SWEET HOME ALABAMA (haha gay)
