Steve Patterson and his crew at UGAsports.com really do a fantastic job with everything. Their recruiting analyst, Chad Simmons, is definitely top notch. I would recommend to anyone.

Jeremy, thanks for the link to Sic’EmDawgs.com. We chose this as our Readers’ Pick. Great resource for fans, which is what we’re looking for here. Lots of links there to a variety of UGA fan websites and news sources.

Folks, if you know of a cool Dogs fan blog or news resource (or, hey, if you’ve got a UGA blog of your own), post it here or email us. (Only rule: Content’s got to be clean.)

We’d like to save y’all some time surfing the web while also offering a look at the cool content out there on the Dawgosphere.

Georgia Sports Blog is great, and I also like Dawg Sports. The post can be really lengthy but are always well researched and entertaining. During the season they even do a tailgating feature called cocktail thursday which is usually pretty funny.

I miss the “Georgia Grapevine”. He did a good job summarizing all the recruiting goings on. Is there a good substitution for this out there?

I call thirds on what Paul and Senator B said. Thanks for the mention and the link. The AJC deserves credit for being among the select newspapers who acknowledge that these weird things called sports blogs exist. Again, we appreciate it.

We thank you, Paul, SenatorB, and MaconDawg. Our goal is to make sure sports fans get a good sense of what’s out there on the web. There’s plenty of blogosphere to go around for everyone and we enjoy checking out the fans’ perspective.

Please keep sending us the best UGA fan blog links to post here. We’re trying to give them a look and get them up as quickly as we can.

I like this URL Link here. http://www.bcsfootball.org/bcsfb/alltime It does point out just how dominating The SEC has been in BCS National Championship Games, having never lost one. LSU is 2-0, Florida and Tennessee both are 1-0, and in the 10 years now of the BCS Mythical National Championship Game, The SEC is the only Undefeated Conference in the BCS MNC Game. Southern California is only 1-1, whereas LSU has won 2 and lost none, and Florida, Tennessee, and Texas have won 1 too - like Southern California - and lost none.

This is where GRAPEVINE is now :

http://www.dawgsonline.com/2007/05/09/depth-chart-by-class/

Since 1995, this has been my favorite writer, knowing what is being discussed and not missing the point, with the same points as found previously at GRAPEVINE.

Dawgs Online is GRAPEVINE

Frankly, I get a little tired reading the stuff on the blogs of writers, who do not have a clue.

You click their URL Link and there is little meat to it.

Or, they direct you to some Florida Gator Fans’ Blog and there they do not allow opinions contrary to their own, poor as their knowledge is on the topic.

Hey, AJ-C Do you have a listing of Georgia Tech fan blogs as well** ? I bet you do NOT because the Tech fans, both of them don’t either of the 2 know 1 thing about sports.

Sorry for the delay in updating. Your picks have been added.

And yes, we do have a Tech links page but like this page, we moderate it to keep things fan-based. Just as we’ll remove or edit comments on this blog that don’t stick to the topic at-hand - discussing and/or sending in fan sites - we’ll do the same on Tech’s fan site page. And on the Alabama page and so on and so forth.
