Offers from Central Florida and Georgia Southern for Furr
The Atlanta Journal-Constitution

Carver, Columbus junior linebacker LeRon Furr attended junior day at Auburn this weekend.
Furr already has plenty of insight on the Tigers. His older brother, DeRon Furr, was a member of the Auburn’s 2008 recruiting class.
LeRon Furr currently has scholarship offers from Central Florida and Georgia Southern.
“I’m interested in both schools,” Furr said. “But I’m still trying to do the recruiting process.”
Alabama, Auburn, Georgia Tech, LSU, North Carolina and Oklahoma are actively recruiting Furr.
If the Crimson Tide offers Furr, he’d strongly consider a commitment Alabama despite his brother’s presence at rival Auburn.
“[Alabama] coach [Nick] Saban is a good coach,” said Furr, who met the Tide’s first-year coach recently during junior day in Tuscaloosa. “He’s a guy you can talk to.”

Auburn collected a commitment from junior defensive end Terrance Coleman of Williams High in Mobile, Ala. on Sunday.
It was the Tigers’ first pledge from the class of 2009.
“I wanted to make an early decision and get it out of the way so I can focus on my grades,” Coleman told Inside the Auburn Tigers. “I’m committed to Auburn. I made my mind up today.”
The 6-foot-1, 250-pound Coleman is the cousin of current Auburn defensive end Antonio Coleman.
