Tennessee has signed several more players according to the Knoxville News-Sentinel.
Linebacker Marion Walls of Olive Branch, Miss., had originally committed to Ole Miss but changed his mind after coach Ed Orgeron was fired. Walls used to live in Tennessee, where he was rated among the state’s top prospects by the News-Sentinel.
Tennessee went into Baton Rouge, La., to sign linebacker Herman Lathers. He made 114 tackles as a senior. The hope for Tennessee is that Lather’s teammate, offensive lineman Dallas Thomas, will also sign with the Vols.
The Vols have signed offensive lineman Carson Anderson of Florence, Ala. Anderson’s father, Terry, and his uncle, Charlie, both played for Tennessee.
Tennessee has also signed Preston Bailey, an offensive lineman from Nashville, and his high school teammate Ben Bartholomew, a 6-3, 220-pound athlete.
