Tenuta’s son signs with Marshall

Walton tight end Zach Tenuta, son of former Georgia Tech defensive coordinator Jon Tenuta, signed with Marshall today.

“Zach wants to one day be a coach like his dad, and Marshall is an outstanding educational school,” Walton coach Ed Dudley said.

“It’s like a Cinderella story for Zach, the shoe fits. He is so excited about the opportunity to play there.”

The elder Tenuta recently was hired as Notre Dame’s assistant head coach and linebackers coach.
