LSU signs 16 so far, but two big ones got away

LSU has officially received 16 written commitments, according to the school’s Web site.
Of the three prized recruits we wrote about earlier that LSU was still trying to get, only one is coming to Baton Rouge: Offensive lineman Greg Shaw, out of Hialeah, Fl.
The ones that got away: Jacksonville running back Jermaine Thomas signed with Florida State and defensive tackle Corey Liuget (Hialeah, Fl.) signed with Illinois.
