Gators lose Buchanan to Miami

Florida got some bad news when linebacker Ramon Buchanan signed with Miami. Buchanan had given an early commitment to Miami but then appeared to change his mind and lean towards Florida, who offered him a scholarship as a sophomore.

But on Wednesday Buchanan, from Palm Bay, Fla., signed with Hurricanes.

The Gators made get some more bad news before the day is over. Scout.com is reporting that Ricky Barnum, an offensive lineman from Lakeland, may pull a surprise and sign with Michigan. Barnum was believed to be leaning towards the Gators.
